I'm sure he's worth it.

That morning felt wonderful. I was ready for a whole new day!

I cooked some waffles, which really helped on my cookingskill...

...and I ate the waffles afterwards. I was alone, but ugh, such delicious waffles!

The first thing I did after eating was brushing my teeth and getting dressed, and then I called Drew, I didn't forget the agreement about us hanging out today, I sure hadn't forgotten.

But he was at work, so I just painted. I was a little disappointed, but I knew he would be back in a few hours.

I was right, he got back 5 hours after that. Uh, I'm so in love... I'm beginning to stare out the window through the day, to check if he's back... Oh boy, this can't be very good. I hope he feels the same way.

I didn't wanna seem desperate, so I had an hour pass by before I walked over to him. Damn, I missed him :).
I shook his hand and started a conversation...
Me; Hey, Drew, nice to see you again. Good day at work, huh?
Drew; Nah, not really, I was looking forward to see you all day, heh.
I took my hand back, I was so flattered :).
Me; Me too, I just painted today. Nothing special!
Drew; Hah, lucky you :)
He opened the door for me, and we walked into his house.

Wow, he sure is a cutie! :P

We sat there in his cute little couch, and I just felt very comfortable, he just smelt so good sitting there right next to me.
Drew; So... Uhm, what's your favorite color, Jo?
Hah, he knew my nickname, cool :)
Me; I like white a lot.. I don't know if it's my favorite. How about you?
Drew; I like most colors :) I don't know what we should do really, you wanna go to the local restaurant?
Me; It's closed by now, but thanks a lot for the offer, you are so sweet :).
Drew; You too.. So glad that we met, you are an awesome person :).

We stopped talking, and I put my arm around his shoulder. I could feel both mine and his heart beating faster.

I looked him right in his beautiful eyes. They were darkbrown, just like a little cute teddybear :).

I kissed him, and grabbed his wrist. His lips felt soft against mine. Something was wrong, though, he didn't seem to enjoy it.

He pulled back, and as I tried to kiss him again, he pushed me gently back.
Drew; Jo, it's nothing personal, it's just going a bit too fast for me. I am not that 'experienced'.
He giggled. I took my hand down from his shoulder, and sighed.
Me; So you don't want to date?
Drew; Suuure... But, not so quick, I'm not ready for it.
Me; Drew, it's ok, I dont want to, if you don't want to.
He smiled at me, he looked so happy that I felt all okay with his decision.

We walked outside, and I felt something a bit like butterflies in my stomach as he looked me flirty in the eyes.
Drew; I really like you... So...
What? What?! I didn't say anything, I just figured he would continue his sentence...?

He didn't, he gave me a very passionate kiss, and it felt like my knees were smelting. Such a wonderful feeling :)
Drew; And thanks for tonight :)
I blushed, gave him a hug and went home and slept.

The next days I heard nothing from Drew, I guess he was just busy with work.. I didn't mind, I was kind of obsessed with him, and I think I scared him away a little. So I tried to calm down in the next week.
And I continued my job - painting!
City Hall called me to tell me, that they loved my paintings, and that I just had to paint more and send them the paintings. Oops.

I thought about my whole life. What a bad childhood I had... I didn't think of that before... I was so happy to be on my own now!

One of my neighbours. What a hottie! LOL.

I clogged the toilet, so I had to unclog it... Oops :(

And I ate some leftovers, which I had done the others days before.

A shower felt sooooo relaxing, and I felt amazing afterwards.

I felt ready to go over to Drew's place, and I patiently rang the bell.

He kissed me hello, hehe :)
I was so excited, I thought he only kissed me last time we saw each other, because he thought he hurt my feelings!

He looked me in the eyes, we still hadn't said a word to each other. He just looked at me really weird, like he was far away.
We of course talked a lot that night, and he cooked me delicious dinner!

I too slept at his place :). A very uncomfortable bed, but when it was with him by my side, I didn't care.
And no, nothing else happened than sleeping that night, okay?! :P

The next morning, I overheard Drew having a conversation with his mother over the phone. I know it's wrong, but hey, thin walls, people!
The ... is for spaces between his sayings when his mom said something.


Drew; Mom? Hey, it's Drew.. Yeah, Drew, your son.. *laugh*...No mom, I'm fine!... It's nice living here.... MOM! No! I'm a big boy now, you don't need to send me stuff, okay?... I met this nice girl, she lives across the street... No mom, we didn't run off and got married, we are just DATING, okay?... *scoff*....Mom, I can handle my self, okay? I won't sleep with her unless we get married...


And that's where I shot my ears of. WHAT?! Is he like really religious? Oh no! I just hoped we'd have some romance going...

After that shock, Drew cooked me breakfast. It was so delicious

Drew of course had to go to work, so I went home... Alone... Again... Kind of depressed.. But I of course had to accept his beliefs. And oh no.. He doesn't know that I know! Well, I just have to behave all normal.. That could be a challenge it self...

Some days passed, and FINALLY Drew took an initiative and asked me to come over.
And so I did. He had cooked some nice tasting Mac N Cheese, and it was really nice eating with him.

He showed his reserved side again... I tried to give him a tight hug, but he took a step back, and rejected me right off. What the heck am I supposed to do, with my KIND OF boyfriend rejecting me nonstop?!

I confronted him.

Me; Drew? What's going on? Not trying to annoy you, I just really like you, and you give me these mixed signals. I don't really how to handle this, can't you just tell me what's bothering you?

He took a deep breath, and I knew he was about to tell me.

Drew; Jo, I'm just not...very comfortable with that type of contact.... Nah, screw it. I had a girlfriend, she was so amazing - i thought, and then she just started going to bars all night, and my best friend told me, that she kissed his dad! And she was my first girlfriend... And now... I just don't know if I can trust a girl that way again...

Me; Is that also why you don't wanna sleep with me?

Drew; What? Yeah... It is. Hey, how did you know...?

Me; I kinda overheard your talk with your mom...

Damn, why did I even bring this up?!

Drew; Oh... Well, that's embarrassing...

He laughed, and I felt even more guilty...

Me; But Drew... I thought you knew, that I wasn't that type of girl? But else... I ain't! I just want a good, steady relationship with a guy that loves me. Nothing else. And I don't really care if you don't wanna sleep with me, as long as you will be by my side and protect me.

That seemed like the best way to say it. And really, I didn't care if I had to marry him. I was really in love with him...

The days passed without me hearing from Drew.. But one day, he knocked on my door, and dragged me into my bedroom, really sneaky. He kissed me, and whispered "Do you want to?", and I just nodded :).

AND.... Look above :P

After that, we chatted a bit, and he walked around my lot as a casanova :P
It turned out he was a virgin... But I didn't care! :)

 We agreed that he would move in, we both had very bad finances, but together we'd find out!

 He even brought his smooth computer! ;)

 And he played chess online on it, which was great for his logicskill, which he needed for his career as a doctor :).

 The next few days I felt sick. It was probably the food... I ate some bad tacos a few days ago...

 The shower broke on Drew...! Had to repair it!

 A few days past which were just plain normal, but then something happened...
I WAS PREGNANT!
Omg, I really didn't see that one coming! I was soooo happy! I wonder how Drew would react...?

 I went right off and told him. He was so happy, first he was in shock, but then he just yelled "YEEEAH BABY" of just pure happiness :D. Haha, such a special moment.

 He had bought me some really, REALLY cute yellow flowers for me, and I was so excited!

 In the next second, he went down on one knee, and I was really clueless about what was going on.. Until he pulled a BEAUTIFUL ring out!
Drew; I know you are surprised and overwhelmed, but just listen before you say no! I know, that I'm not the best guy in the world, and that I do not deserve you. But the baby deserves a family, where he can be sure that his mom and dad loves each other, and I sure love you! We haven't known each other for that long, but I already know, that you are the girl for me. :)
So Josephine Winds, will you marry me?"

 I really was overwhelmed, but anything else than screaming "YESS" felt wrong, so that's what I did :).

 And we decided just to say the vows right away, as we didn't know very many people to invite to a big wedding...

I finally got my Drew E. Michaels :).
